Saregama (earlier Gramophone Company of India Limited) has been in existence for a century and has one of the biggest musical archives owned by any company in the world.

The company owns nearly 200,000 tracks and visual images taken from Bollywood movies.

The ownership of nearly 50 per cent of all the music ever recorded in India makes Saregama the most authoritative repository of the country's musical heritage.

As the appointed agency for the Saregama archives, Event Merchandising Limited has access to this wealth of images and is now able to ensure that "Bollywood" images are now available for representation on a wide variety of licensed categories.

To date, a range of Calendars featuring the Top Films and Stars for 2003 has been licensed with Danilo and a range of Poster’s, postcards and clothing are also being developed with other major licensees.

Bollywood is now a recognised brand and Event! will ensure that this brand is suitable for a controlled worldwide distribution in retail and promotions.
