Formula One in Regent Street:

Over five hundred thousand people came to Regent Street to see the Cars of Formula One. Event Merchandising was delighted to be involved in this fantastic event.

The event's massive success may now provide a springboard for proposals for a London Grand Prix.
Eight drivers, led by Nigel Mansell, ran from Waterloo Place to Oxford Circus and back.
Jenson Button, David Coulthard and Martin Brundle all attended in a strong turn-out of British drivers past and present.
However, arguably the biggest cheer of the day was reserved for the Ferrari of Luca Badoer.

News:

London saw the Olympic Flame for the first time in more than 50 years by hosting one of the biggest free concerts the capital has ever seen.
Stars such as Rod Stewart, James Brown, ex-Spice Girl Emma Bunton and Pop Idol winner Will Young performed in front of more than 70,000 people in The Mall.

Among the others acts that appeared was Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne, Bryan Ferry, Jamelia and McFly.
But the main star of the show was the Olympic Flame.

A total of 140  torchbearers ranging from sports stars such as Jonathan Edwards, Tim Henman and Sir Roger Bannister to 'extraordinary ordinary' people guided the torch through 11 London boroughs.

The climax came when Britain's greatest Olympian, Sir Steve Redgrave, ran  the final leg of the relay, bringing the flame into The Mall and lighting the cauldron.

Event Merchandising is proud to be associated with this Landmark Event
